Azeva LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates azeva.com. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our website.
Information We Collect
When you make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe — we never see or store your credit card number.
When you take our skin quiz, we collect your answers about your skin (redness, pigmentation, sensitivity, triggers, pregnancy status, and related information) along with your email address. This is considered "consumer health data" under certain state laws and is covered by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
When you use AI Skin Advisor, we process your chat messages, recent chat history, structured Azeva product-match context, safety signals, consent version, and technical metadata needed to run and secure the feature. Your messages may include consumer health data if you choose to share skin concerns, symptoms, routines, pregnancy/nursing status, prescription context, or sensitivities. AI Skin Advisor is covered by our AI Skin Advisor Privacy Notice and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
When you join our restock text waitlist, we collect your phone number and a record of your SMS marketing consent, including the disclosure shown at signup, consent timestamp, signup source, user agent, and a hashed IP address for fraud prevention.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process and fulfill your orders, communicate with you about your order, send you the personalized skin quiz results you requested, operate AI Skin Advisor responses and safety checks, send restock or launch text messages if you opted into SMS, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve our products and services.
AI Skin Advisor Providers
AI Skin Advisor is optional. To generate a response, we send the current message, relevant recent chat history, our system instructions, and Azeva product context to an AI model provider. We currently use DeepSeek for this purpose. We also use hosting, rate-limiting, and security providers to operate the feature. Do not include information you do not want processed by these service providers.
We do not intentionally store AI Skin Advisor chat transcripts in Azeva's app database today, but service providers may process or temporarily retain operational logs under their own security, abuse-prevention, and service-operation rules.
Partner Data Sharing
We may share a limited set of personal information — specifically your email address, first name, and shipping-address state — with partner brands for relevant skincare and wellness offers. We do this by default for customers who have placed an order with us, unless you opt out.
We never share your skin quiz answers, AI Skin Advisor chat content, or any other consumer health data with partner brands for their own marketing. We also exclude your IP address, device identifiers, phone number, payment information, and the specific details of what you ordered. Categories of buyers: direct-to-consumer beauty and wellness brands, mail-based marketing services. Purposes: sending you relevant offers from brands whose products complement your Azeva routine. We do not sell data to data brokers, ad networks, or any third party for non-marketing purposes.
To opt out of partner data sharing at any time, visit azeva.com/privacy/do-not-sell-or-share. Opt-outs take effect immediately and are permanent. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an implicit opt-out where we can associate it with your email address. Every partner data export is logged internally for audit.
Cookies
We use cookies to maintain your shopping cart, remember that you dismissed or completed our skin quiz so we do not re-prompt you, and improve your browsing experience. You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings.
Data Retention
Order data is retained for the period needed to meet federal and California tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations, generally up to 7 years. Marketing-only contacts (email signups, SMS waitlist signups, quiz takers who never purchased) are retained until you unsubscribe, opt out, request deletion, or after a period of inactivity under our retention practices. AI Skin Advisor chat transcripts are not intentionally saved in Azeva's app database today, although providers may process operational logs. You can request deletion of your data at any time at azeva.com/privacy/delete-my-data.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request a copy, request deletion, and opt out of certain uses.
